Red Deer's Interior Demolition Team

Rawk J Services handles small and interior demolition across Red Deer and Central Alberta. We work in tight spaces where big machines can’t go, contain the dust, and haul the debris away. You get a clean, ready-to-build space.

What we take on.

A small or interior demolition done with containment and dust control, so the rest of the building stays clean. Think kitchen or bathroom tear-outs, drywall and flooring removal, or taking out a wall before a renovation.

If the building was built before 1990, it’s strongly recommended. Alberta requires asbestos materials that could release fibres to be removed before demolition, and you can’t do that without knowing where they are. We can test, remove and demolish under one roof.

Yes. Debris removal and a broom-clean finish are part of the job.

Yes, offices, retail units and other commercial interiors, as well as homes.
It depends on the size of the area, the materials coming out and how much debris there is. Estimates are free and come with a clear price before any work starts

Committed to Safety

Why hire an abatement crew for demolition?

Older buildings hide things. Drywall compound, floor tile, ceiling texture and insulation in many pre-1990 Alberta buildings can contain asbestos. Alberta’s OHS Code requires materials that could release asbestos fibres to be removed before a building is demolished, and Alberta OHS must get 72 hours’ notice before demolition or renovation work that may release them.

Most demo crews aren’t set up to deal with that. We are. Rawk J is a hazardous-materials company first, so we spot the risk before the first swing — and handle it properly if we find it.

Strict Guidelines Must Be Met

Hazard Check

Before anything comes down, we check older materials for asbestos so your project doesn't stall halfway through.

Containment

We seal off the work area and protect floors and nearby rooms, so dust stays where the work is.

Controlled Tear-Out

Hand tools and the right equipment, not heavy machinery. Only what's on the plan comes out.

Debris Haul-Away

Debris is bagged, carried out and hauled off site, so you're not left with a pile in the driveway.

Clean-Up

Surfaces are swept and vacuumed, leaving a broom-clean space ready for your next trade.

Proper Disposal

Waste is disposed of in line with local and provincial regulations, including any hazardous materials we find.

If we find asbestos during a demo job, we stop, contain it and remove it to Alberta’s abatement standards before demolition continues.

Be careful! Abestos can be found in these areas. Call us to make sure you are safe.
